Verse 1:
Corporations are people.  Money is speech.
The Supreme Court handed down their decision.
Politicians don't practice what they preach.
Their campaign ads can talk, talk, talk, but we're not listenin'!

Refrain (hand over ears):
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la / La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, la-ah

Verse 2:
We the People, we are united.
We are United Citizens.
We're against Citizens United.
The Super PACs can talk, talk, talk, but we're not listenin'!
Refrain ...

They got the money.  We got soul.
They got campaign ads.  We got remote control.
They got the upper hand.  We got our index finger.
Turn on the TV, there's another zinger.
Can't wait for Congress or a lawsuit.
Put your finger on the mute ... button.
They got the loot.  We got the mute.  So let's ...
Mute the Loot (4x)

Verse 3:
Bring it on, you billionaire boys.
Corporate humanoids keep on givin'.
Fill up the airwaves with your negative noise.
Your Super PACs can talk, talk, talk, but we we're not listenin'!
Refrain ...

Without television, all the politicians,
They shalt perish from the earth.
But "they'll be right back, don't touch that dial".
Unless you press the mute button, ... for a little while.

Coda: (parody)
O Beautiful, For Spacious Skies
Corporations are people, my friend.
They spend, spend, spend, spreadin' lies, as if there were no end.
The campaign ads are talkin', but we're not listenin'!
La la la la, la la la la, la la la, la la, la!

I'm Ron Pulcer, and I approve this message.
Where's that Mute button? (sudden ending)
