Lenten and Easter Hymns
Dear friends and family:
Over the past two decades, I have played guitar for Sunrise Service on Easter morning. This year, given the COVID-19 pandemic and necessary social distancing, I won't be playing music outdoors on Easter morning. My church, Grace Congregational Church and many other churches will not be open during Holy Week and Easter, except for online services.
Therefore, I have recorded some Lenten and Easter hymns below, which I hope you will enjoy. The first two hymns are my instrumental (fingerstyle) arrangements for guitar. I have also recorded two harmonica medleys of hymns, one for Lent and Holy Week, and the other for Easter. The last tune is a traditional hymn made famous in the early 1970s by Cat Stevens.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Easter, given the circumstances! Best wishes for you and your loved ones to stay healthy during this period.
